About the project

Tiny Home was born from personal experience. For several years, I wanted to build a small house in the former birthplace of my parents, where we could have fun with family and friends, surrounded by nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. But I didn’t expect it to take so much time and effort.

When I started collecting information, I came across an endless variety of manufacturers and suppliers. The huge variety of cabins, the absence of criteria by which you could compare and the many hidden conditions made the search and selection very difficult. It was a shame to waste time that I would have gladly spent with my family.

To help anyone in my situation, I decided to create a website that not only provides all the technical specifications, but also gives you full professional advice from experts in your field.

A university master’s degree in engineering and over 15 years of experience in engineering and construction have served me well in organizing information and not missing out on what really matters. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, after losing my job in an international Norwegian-Lithuanian construction and engineering company, nothing prevented me from devoting all my attention and time to creating prefabhaus.de

Our mission is that we want as many people as possible to rest comfortably in Lithuania, in our wonderful nature, where we were born, and where our roots are.
